With over 15 years experience as a cameraman in Canada
and abroad, Darek Zdzienicki honed his skills in the
'business of non-fiction television'. Whether it'd be
sports, news, documentaries or lifestyle TV, he's seen
and shot it all.
Equally comfortable hanging out of a sailboat in the
America’s Cup to filming the compelling and haunting
story about Jerry Livingston and his famous basketball
team. It’s his passion and commitment to each and every
project that makes him one of Canada’s most requested
cameramen.
Darek’s strong understanding of broadcast production,
including editing, lighting and sound design allow him
to bring a multidimensional approach to his projects. So
whether you are looking for an enthusiastic team player,
or a self-directed cameraman, Darek will not disappoint.
He’s a professional in every sense of the word, a
technophile when it comes to equipment, and a man that
truly believes you are only as good as your last shot.

Beta SP, Sony DSR-450 24P DV Cam, Sony DNW-7 Beta SX,
Sony 530-XD Optical camera, New Sony XD HD 330 and
Panasonic DVX-100A 24P.
He owns a Panasonic HDX-900, Sony DXC D-50 camera head, PVV3 Beta SP
recorder, DSR-1 DV Cam recorder,DSR-450 Sony camcorder
and Panasonic DVX 100A (camera
gear), as well as a complete Kino-Flo Diva and
Chimera lighting kit (lighting
gear) that is standard on ‘in town' shoots.
He also has the ability to record sound if needed with
complete sound package (sound gear) which includes eight Lectrosonics
wireless microphones, 442 and 302 Sound Devices four
channel mixers, Comtek wireless monitoring system and
two Sennheiser boom microphones with Rycote wind
systems.
He is a member of CICA, is fluent in Polish and has an
EU passport. |
